YouTube Rewind is a celebration of videos and other popular trends throughout the year.

YouTube Rewind has been going on for nine years now, and these videos showcase some of the top trends, music, and memes of the year on YouTube. You have some YouTubers acting out some pretty cheesy scenarios in a music video. Therefore, it’s expected to be awful in these scenarios.

Baby Vs. YouTube Rewind

Justin Bieber’s song, “Baby”, is the most disliked video of all time on YouTube. This year’s YouTube Rewind is second to that video. Will Smith even shows up in this year’s Rewind. It starts off with him getting a ping on his phone to let him know the rewind is ready. He mused on what he would do if he could control the rewind. So far, there have been 98 million views on the rewind video.

The rewind video has also received 2 million likes and 7.3 million dislikes. The Justin Bieber song has 9.7 million dislikes, but looking at the ratio it has around 10 million likes on it. As a result, It can get argued that YouTube Rewind 2018 is more unpopular than the classic song by Justin Bieber.

Justin’s video has been around since 2010 and it took years for it to gain so many likes. YouTube’s rewind 2018 video has only been up for less than a week, for instance. The series has gotten criticized over the years. Consequently, this is the first time it has gotten a disproportionate number of dislikes. That is to say, it’s assumed that the dislikes could be a result of those like PewDiePie or Logan Paul not being in the video.

Logan Paul, PewDiePie, and even Shane Dawson have stirred controversy over some videos. PewDiePie even made a reaction video on this year’s YouTube Rewind. He said that he was not asked to take part but appreciated that this year they told him he would not be taking part.
