Elvine had risen to fame through his World of Warcraft gold-making guides. He even had his own personal website as a result. After that, he began to branch out into other games. He is also a Twitch partner and a community specialist for HiRez Studios. In addition, his Twitter account, @Elvinelol, has over 21,000 followers.

While Elvine had name recognition among the WoW community, there was a darker side to the streamer’s personality.

Additionally, the article notes that one person received human trafficking violations charges. The person allegedly arranged to pay money for sex with a child through a sex solicitation website. After news of his arrest spread, an anonymous source revealed to us that the person could be Elvine himself.

“Those arrested had sexually explicit conversations with whom they believed to be a child and most of those arrested traveled to meet a child for sex,” the release said. Upon hearing of his arrest, other figures in the World of Warcraft community have come forward about his previous behavior. Several individuals have reported that Elvine had tried to sexually assault them.

Despite his popularity within the World of Warcraft community, this action reflects solely on him and not on the fan base of the game as a whole.

UPDATE: Elvine’s employer has released a statement regarding his employment at Hi-Rez Studios.
