Celebrate the Holidays with Presents

Version 7.10 brings holiday spirit to Fortnite in the form of presents. Each present has one of several powerful sets of weapons/items. In addition, a legendary rarity item drops in stacks of 1 with a max of 5 stacks.

Some holiday-themed items dropped in the weekly store and as quest items, including the Cocoa and the Snowball Launchers. The Cocoa is a silenced .45 pistol whose ammunition bounces off walls and passes through enemies. Meanwhile, the Snowball Launcher lobs icy grenades that have a moderate radius and knocks back and damages enemies.

While some content is exclusive to the 14 Days of Fortnite, which ended yesterday, you still have a chance to play holiday quests until the 7.20 update to get some of these rewards.

Winter is Here

Four new winter islands were added to the game for Creative in v7.10. These islands are available from the player Rift on the starter island.

In Save the World, you can now use down tier crafting. Create lower tier versions of your favorite end-game weapons! These lower tier versions use lower tier ingredients to craft.

Frostnite comes to Fortnite, making surviving the cold and the snow even more challenging. Scavenge BluGlo in order to keep your Burner filled. The Storm Shield shrinks as the Burner health decreases. If it runs out, say hello to the frozen ice hero sculptures. As you’re wandering the cold landscape, look out for┬áKrampus Smashers. To combat the difficulty, searched and harvested resources doubled. However, you do not keep any items after the game.

Get it While You Still Can

Several weapons, items, and heroes are available for a limited time. Some of them might already have already expired with the end of the 14 Days of Fortnite, and the others might not be around for long. If you’re a collector, be sure to get on and get this holiday content while you still can.
