An Epic Frost Has Arrived

Fortnite may be one of the most popular video games in the world, and that is clearly for a reason. The game has proven time and time again that a developer can take a simple concept and make something extraordinary out of it. In Epic Games‘ case, Fortnite has proven to be the golden goose that keeps on giving.

Currently, Fortnite has a player base of over 125 million players worldwide, and it is growing. Along with that, Fortnite’s content is also expanding. Epic recently released their newest update for the game, and this frosty addition fits perfectly into the Christmas season.

Season 7 Features

This newest update marks the 7th season of the famed shooter, and along with that comes some welcome changes. Here is a description of the new features directly from Epic’s website:

“Season 7 has arrived with the smash of a mysterious iceberg! Winter has brought many changes to the Fortnite map for you to explore. Ziplines are a new way to help you travel to and from high terrain. For you chill and thrill seekers, the new Frosty Flights location and Expedition outposts are outfitted with the new Stormwing planes so you can take to the skies. There are tons of new areas to venture to and secrets to uncover, so stay frosty.”

Epic has also stated that there are over 100 new rewards that can be unlocked. This includes new winter and Christmas themed suits and skins. Also, a new cosmetic item called a “wrap” has been added which allows for characters to customize their weapons and vehicles with a holiday flair. The developers have said that this season will last till February 28th of next year.
The Iceberg Awaits
