EA/E3 2018

Electronic Arts (EA) began E3 2018 with the familiar EA play conferences, debuting and announcing some exciting new games, and premiering some amazing trailers!

Before the E3 keynote today, we already had a panoply of information on Battlefield V. The crew at EA and E3 showed up ready with some smaller, but big announcements. Some new footage from the highly anticipated BioWare game known as Anthem came to light. Alongside of this, a handful of smaller announcements in regards to many titles revealed a lot of information to digest. In no particular order, here’s some of the most exciting developments from the show.

Battlefield V Will Debut a Battle Royale Mode

With the recent influx of popular Battle Royale themed titles, such as PuBG, Fortnite Battle Royale, The Culling, H1Z1: King of the Kill, etc., its not surprising to see this development. Battlefield V will create a scenario where you fight to be the last player standing in a WW2 era battlefield. Just like everyday life! it is noted that Battlefield V is:

“reimagined with the core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles … It will be unlike anything you’ve played before, and we’ll have more to talk about later this year.”

All of this according to the game’s official Twitter account. A new trailer with bits and pieces of this new multiplayer mode, and a new story mode for single player known as “War Stories” is shown in the trailer below:

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

A new Star Wars game will debut this year. Star Wars: The Fallen order is placed chronologically between Star Wars: Episode 3 – The revenge of the Sith, and Star Wars: Episode 4 – A New Hope. Titanfall developer ‘Respawn’ dropped hints of a new game before the launch of E3. Not much is known past the point of the title. We were informed the single-player story mode is expected to release Christmas Holiday Season 2019. No trailer yet for the announcement.

BioWare’s Anthem Launches In February of 2019.

Anthem is the next big installment from BioWare. The makers of Mass Effect say the game will go live February 22, 2019. First, the game takes place in a hostile future. The game is a world role playing scenario where players don powerful armoured suits known as “javelines.” There are four types of javelines, with each one allowing the player to experience the game in a unique fashion. Further, since Anthem is a ‘living-shared world,’ players will also be able to talk to other places, and deal with mutual consequences for actions chosen in game. So, we think this will please Mass Effect fans who are gunning for a new type of futuristic game to conqueror. Anthem will be released Feb. 22, 2019, on PlayStation 4, The Xbox One, and Windows PC. Sea of Solitude

This games unique and melancholy look will catch your eye immediately. EA picked up this title a while ago, and today, it debuted a new trailer.
